I would say, yes. Unless your genetics lean toward the lighter colored plants, you need both calcium and magnesium.

Just a quick question sorry to jump in on your thread but it’s related, will the discoloured leaves go back to normal with calmag correction or will they remain like that?

If the damage is too extensive they'll never heal. At this stage they have a chance to fully recover, too much longer and the damage will be irreversible. They are growing hydro, so getting either a brand name solution or making their own are both options. I'm still reading up on magnesium but I know it is in Epsom salts. I have a non vinegar receipe for a calcium solution that my girls love.

I have to 2 other plants they are a lot healthier all grown in the same willma system using botanicare nutrients I do my ph at 5.8 my ppm right now am keeping under 400
