Hello to all. I have here something that i cant explain. Some say seeds some say swollen calyxes. But when i opened one it had the making of a seed. And it was hard. IMO i think they are seeds. I want to know how since everything being done is done right. And i dont see any signs of male flowers. How can this be thanks to all who read and reply

No footballs just those. I have heard of swelled calyxes but they look like seeds. They arent easy to open and have the makings of a seed. The pistils wont be there?

Those are def seeds. Couldn't say how but id bet money on it. AlmightySteve has a point, much pollen would have got the rest of those, too, so it could be that you have a hermie that only had 1 banana a while back and you didn't see it. Sometimes a very small amount of pollen(1 sac) will partially pollinate the plant and leave some pistols unpollinated. Looks like the unpollintated white hairs are all new growth that havent got it(yet).

Obviously seed. the difference is seed in calyx shows a stripe in vertical. A swollen calyx will just look the same minus the stripe showing the seed. can happen by stress or bad genetics, temp, lots of things can make it happen. the reason you most likely did not see it is because the male flowerr can grow in btween your calyxs and as they swell, they hide the flower, making it almost impossible to see, then you gett pollination. I hate that shit!! happpened to me on a few, only a few seeds though, like six in four plants all together.
