To Twistyman and NoviceGrower, just take the USB cable, plug it in and see what happens. If prompted just follow the prompts. If you get error messages, write them down and we can help for sure. It is not hard at all.
If you have software that came with the camera load it up and try it out.
I don't use the software that came with my camera, I use a program that was on the computer already. Its Kodak Easy Share, key word easy.
Yes computers (including softwre) are all different and can be a pain in the ass, but loading pics is pretty easy, and once you get it working it can be rewarding to share them with others.

I disagree, XP is a pain in the ass. Unfortunately, too much software wants to be on XP. At least with Win2K you don't have it making quite as many decisions for you as with XP. Networking is easier, too. Networking in Vista..? Oh my fucking GOD, forget about it! And they CHARGE PEOPLE for that piece of shit operating system. You're dead ON about ME, and NT, too.

In my opinion, drop all the fuckin' Windows shit and go with open source. Linux all the way, baby! :D I really love my Ubuntu, even better than Gentoo, which I loved way better than Red Hat (7. if that tells you anything).
Thanks sea..I've never hears of, Linux, Ubuntu & Gentoo....I'll google that later and check it out....

Well xp is the best we have. Never been on a linux, However i do like my mac.
I just ordered a new computer with vista on it that was the best i could do for windows they discontinued the XP so ill have to actually deal with it.
Hasn't Vista's problems been solved ? I thought they were ???

Thanks...our guitarist uses the Kodak easy share and he swears by it... My problem is I should get a better comp. I'm using a 667mhz now that crashes when I fart...*everyone get the smartass remarks out of their systems...finished ?....good* Prompts I can do...problems & I'm toast...Until Jan 08. I'd never used a comp. for anything but Civilization & golf.. so even my new found copy & paste is a major breakthrough....... I guess I'll just get the camera 1st and let the chips fall as they may......... I'm :hump:

Twisty, those are all different 'flavors' of Linux. Linux is an open source operating system, and almost all the software, as the OS, is freely available. If you're as computer illiterate as I think you are, don't try any other flavor except Ubuntu Current release is Hardy Heron, I'm probably gonna upgrade from Gutsy Gibbon and hopefully my own Rawstudio program will start working again. Rawstudio is for working with photos of the .crw or .raw (both uncompressed) formats. :)

Kodak EasyShares are supposed to be the BOMB.
