i bought a complete 400w high pressure sodium system. it cam with a 400w

bulb a 400w ballast and reflector, i have been using it for my current grow

which is coming to an end. and it has worked wonders on my 8 plants,

although i feel like i need a little more juice to make the nugs more dense or

heavy. i want to use a 600w for my next grow but i was wondering if i can

buy a 600w bulb and place it in my 400w system i currently have, is this

possible/safe? i appreciate all help

I'm not sure if it will work, but if it does will still be same output as the 400w bulb your using. 400w ballasts only outputs 400w!

ummm if it was the case wouldnt you think everyone would be like

"oh shit i totally have a 400w ballast but i'm running a 600w bulb, this is so cool"
but seeing as this is not the case......no
