Right I need help again!
Outside temperature at the moment is between 8-12C @ night and 12-20C during day, and this is summer!!! Now it may heat up soon when the weather turns good but still it never really goes above 25C on a good summers day. As you know my growcabinet is in my shed outside...
I have bought a 400w HPS with a cooled inline reflector with a glass screen (like a cooltube but square). I also got a S&P TD-125 197/149cfm fan.
For veg I got a 150W cfl.
I would like to use the heat of the HPS light to slightly heat the cabinet up to around 25C. I could leave one hole on the reflector open and then use the inline fan to pull the air away from the light to allow me to utilise the height but what do I do with the warm air? If I direct it around and back down and disperse out is that going to be too much heat? I know I will have to have a seperate extracter fan at the top and just a couple of vents on the bottom for fresh cool air (which will be outside air which will be usually much cooler than 25C). What size extracters do i need and are there any real quiet ones? Or is there a better way to do this? Please help I think I am confusing myself even more.
