Can a plant go from flowering to vegging?

I have a question. I have a very nice plant (bagseed) that is growing in my greenhouse and it has a small amour of buds on them but they are beautiful...dark purple with tons of crystals...anyways I would be sad to harvest less than an ounce of this weed so my questsion is:
Can I take this plant that has been flowering for like 5 weeks maybe bake into my closet and put it on a 20/4 light cyCle with my auto? Will it force the plant to go into begging state again or am I too late?
My plan is to vegg it long to make it gro larger to have more budd:)

Let it finish and just take the best buds off of it. Leave all the small stuff and and put it back in veg and after a few weeks it will start vegging again. You can either clone it or put it back in the greenhouse

hmm i would not do it like that now you have let it go a bit far as you describe the buds are well developed now
you can do it like you want but the time factor will not be worth it and you will end up waiting a long time

as your plant is well into flowering it wont simply go back to veg growth like it would do if it had only been 2 weeks of 12/12,
your plant at this stage will act and grow like a rejuvenated plant if you put it on a veg photo period now

that means the new growth will start coming out of the buds in a few weeks, the plant will get pretty big with lots of new thin shoots that have distorted growth
you will not be able to get cuttings from it for about 4-5 weeks from when you switch it back
then another 8-10 weeks or whatever to flower it

so what i would do is either take a few cuttings now .. cuttings can be taken in flower they will root as normal, but will grow like a rejuvenated plant
the cuttings will just start growing normaly , when your original plant is fully mature you can then flower your new cuttings
or you can just wait for this plant to finish , another few weeks, leave some bud and leaves on the bottom of her and start the rejuvenation process

hope that helps m8

peace :)

Thanks both...I will finish maturing these buds and will cut them only for new growth in the future

No worries, I've done it many times. Re-pot 'em, put 'em back on veg nutes & light schedule ( outdoors, sunshine seems to work best) and be patient. I've pulled it off up to 3 times with the same plants in the past.
