Okai sooo..can anyone help me? there is so much misinformation and at this point everything i ve read about cal mag and ro water is so confused let me explain. Im using RO water and AdvanceNutrient cal mag what i did is reach 150ppm 1st week , 200 ppm in the 2nd week and the base for all the grow. For example in week 3 i take my ro water i put cal mag in there until reach 200 and then i add fertilizer when i have to added but is that enough cal mag?
i was very sure im not gonna get any Calcium or mangensio defiency using cal mag but then is saw this. First of all is this cal or mag def is 1st time growing? i really think it is but im not sure . d75ca32e-106c-4787-ae2d-d307c5da1b1c.jpge4db5083-839a-4291-ac16-238732acd087.jpgweek 5 111.jpgadc44fc5-1d56-4bd4-931d-bd282141dc93.jpgBTW she is in week 5 1efb2eca-661d-4619-be40-ab198ceb795b.jpg In general she looks fine i think , but older leaf are doing these and i really isn't now if it's a cal mag def or a excess or a nutrient lock or what

Is it all older leaves or the ones touching the dirt? In that last pic I think that’s the problem. What are you growing in?

You shouldn't need to give calmag in soil/soiless until week4 if at all . everything is good don't worry about the odd damage on the lower leaves . your doing well look fine mate.there should be enough calmag in the medium and your nutes even using ro water. If you do neefd it usually around 4/5 week of flower depends on a few things strain nutes used etc just keep an eye on them

You're feeding to much/to often. Do you spot the leaf clawing? That's from excess N

I think W, has a point. I always forget to give an intermittent plain RO feed and end up with N toxicity and droop quite similar (but worse) to yours.
Like others said yours do look generally well. Consider the strain... as some strains can take 10ml per Gal of calmag. Check with the breerer (or forum) if the strain is a heavy hitter (for the whole run not just now).
Dont forget you can always use most feeds and supplements as foliar spray a short while after lights out while you let your soil dry out.
Happy growing

some plants may need some cal mag in soil, but not nearly as much as if they were in coco.
the first pic looked like thrip damage to me, i'm not sure what the damage is in the other pictures, but it's certainly not anything to do with calcium or magnesium...look more like contact problems, as was mentioned above, or perhaps septoria...don't "defoliate", but if you have a few large leaves laying directly on the soil, get rid of them. if you have a few that are laying right on top of others, get rid of them. leaves transpire, (sweat) if they're touching, the moisture can cause spots that look like that, and can lead to the leaf rotting, which can lead to botrytus....

It looks like soil/soiless medium to me not coco. Op doesnt state what hes in depending on your nutes the soil will hold enough for a good few weeks of cal mag ro water or not

Thought it was.still my info is still correct after growing in soil/ soiless for 20 years theres nothing wrong with his plants that wont straighten itself out, hell do more harm trying to fix something and nothing

Why create the issue when coco steals calcium? I run coco nutes... Still need to suplement. Proactive, not reactive.
I guess it depends on the manufacturer and operator ;). I know for a fact that Canna Coco A+B contain more calcium and magnesium than any "Calmag" product.

i go water/feed/water but the problem i think is the cal mag im using for RO water is from Advance Nutrient is shyntentic and killing all microlife in the soil because brand am using is organic and i think that is the problem but not sure at all.
Jypsy Dog
that what i do , 200 ppm and then add nutes when i have to , usually 1 time per week always , but every watering no matter if a gonna feed or not because im using RO water so i add cal mag to reach 200ppm

I don't see a calcium nor magnesium deficiency looking at the pictures. Microbes don't bother nutrients, they eat it.

Looks like you could have problems with thrips like @Roger A. Shrubber stated. You could try to let it dry out some more between waterings and lighten up on the feeding. Go 1/3 strength

Drying out the medium and use Blue/yellow sticky pads works well to get rid of them.
