You seen the pics? How old would you say this plant is? I figure it is close to three months. I started it from seed and Its been transplanted once.

If it's 3 months, I hate to say it but it's pretty small.
When doing lst, bend the top as far down as you can from as low down on the plant as you can. Keep it tied there and let the side branches grow and catch up.

My avatar pic is of a trained plant I did, a good lst requires a decent veg time to get the canopy uniform but the results can be amazing.

You might want to look into upgrading some of your equipment so you can produce healthier plants with less trouble.

for the first rrwo months (before i transplanted it) i relied on the sun from a window sill. I honestly didnt know if it would even grow. But it has been, just slowly. I started giving it the other light and heat source when my pot was to big for the ledge. In your opinion do you think this plant will flower? And if so how much longer before i put it into 12 And 12? I would like all the new colas that have sprouted to catch up

Well, tbh if you want a proper lst it will be another month of good lighting and training. The side branches are pretty small still.

So here's my advice, you could flip it to 12/12 now just to finish it up and use this grow as a learning experience.

Or

What I would do to train it is try to get the top down as close to the rim of the planter as possible. Get the lights as close to it as you can without burning it. Point a light fan at it so it strengthens your stems and let it do its thing until your happy with the side branches. Each side branch is a potential top when you lst, keep the main top low and keep training it, soon enough you'll have yourself a shrub.

wouldnt hurt to get a ph test kit to check your run-off(where you water ur plant when it has dried a good bit & water it with pH 7.0 water & then measure the pH.u can get in a pinch cheap pH & tds meters from ebay & amazon.Im assuming ur using Miracle Grow or something along those lines.U can grow mj with it but ur bud quality & yield will suffer.I would next watering water it good & lift ur pot & feel its weight take a mental note, depending on ur container size 5-7 days lift container again & note its weight, much lighter. My personal experiences have been using soil in 3-5 gal containers I needed to water every 5-7 days.Potting soil from Lowes's or Home Depot are generally substandard quailty & contain some fertilizers,so too much ferts can happen & is likely. If ur gonna use that 20-20-20 ,I would try mixing at 1 teaspoon per 4 liters.
You said u mixed 1/2 teaspoon per 1/2 liter water. That stuff is super concentrated & u have over fertilized..FLUSH ur medium well

I agree with ricky1lung: if you want a better harvest, veg it another month or so if you can while training it. I've had a few issues along my grow journey and I'm enjoying the learning experience because I know next time around I'll be better prepared. Read as much as possible, watch as much as possible, and select the information that best fits your current situation and you'll make it through. My 12/12 isn't until next week and I'm already studying up on harvesting, drying, and curing which are just as crucial as growing. Good luck and I'll keep watch to see how she's doing.

Im going to try your second suggestion. Im not even going to be disappointed if i dont get a good yield. This is more learningthistimearound.

Thanks for all the advice. Im going to keep it in veg a while longer and hope my new colas decide to grow well. Ive bent my main tip way down without harming it making my colas higher then the main tip. Fingers crossed. Ill post a new pic in a week or so. Im picking up some ph test strips today and hoping alls good there. Im adding more light and going to water less.

I got mine at the local hydro store. If you don't have a hydro store around you, you can mix some Epsom salt with water and that'll work, or get some dolomite lime and spread it on your soil. If you have both of those floros on it that should be ok for know and adding more light always helps as she gets bigger. Adding some type of reflecting material around it will also increase the amount of light she's getting. I use panda film.
  1. Do you think a morror will reflect light as effectively as panda film or tin foil?
