I'm a noob myself but I liked this comment by Randm "I will bet that those roots are baking big time. Can you raise them up off of the concrete?"

Just wondering if you were able to get them up off the concrete at all?

May not help much but I live in the southwest, consecutive 100 degree days and i have some other plants going outside (not MJ) They have the same issue, leaves dropping off. They don't really dry all the way up, they just fall off for some reason. I'm convinced it's the heat. I've been watering the hell outta them and the new growth is nice and strong so hopefully will recover ok when it cools down a bit.

Good luck man - someone will come in here and be more helpful, i know it.. hang in there

i personally have seen yellow leaves go back to green after feeding more nitrogen.....
really ? On what strain ?
I have never seen that happen in my 5 years of growing ....

I've always noticed the new growth look more healthy after a good feeding.... anything that was yellow stayed yellow, it just stopped progressing .

i was going to comment but wasnt 100% sure. i didnt think they went back green or at least never have seen it myself either in 3 years of growing. still a rookie though

to the guy having issues, have you performed a PH test on your soil?

i think transplanting right now is more trouble than its worth a 5 and 7 gallon pot is plenty big enough for a normal growing season if your just looking for an average sized tree.

what i would suggest is taking a good sample of your soil and bringing it in to be tested for PH, then good "PH lockout chart for marijuanna" you will get some charts that come up, compare them to what the PH of your soil is and adjust as necessary, this might mean having to get some lime into the soil somehow but there are tons of threads on adjusting soil PH out there just a quick web search will yeild you pretty good results on the topic.

keep us updated man

Your plants look hungry. Go to lowes and pick up some Mircale Grow bloom booster for 6 bucks. Give them half of the suggest outside feeding and see what happens. You will also want to PH your water because MG can throw the PH some. It also wouldn't hurt to give it a teaspoon of epsom salt mixed in with the Mircale Grow for the magnesium.

28, 29, 30, 31, 1, 2, 3... 7 days your on here, flipping out, going wild over your plants on this thread. we have, on numerous occasions asked and recommended you perform a PH test on your plants.

Have you done this? 5 bucks, any pet store, walmart, kmart, target, and you got a cheapo pH kit (for fish tanks, in the pet section...)

any nutrient is better then no nutrient, and no nutrient is better then nute burn. Either way, nutrients are step 1238976125 to fixing a problem. FIRST is PH

i dont know how else to explain this, but if your pH is fucked up, you can add gallons and gallons of a desired nutrient and the plant will NOT absorb it. the first thing we need to know is the pH. if the pH is right, then you know you need more N or less P or whatever. if your pH is off, then you might have plenty of N and the plant cant absorb it.

Please, perform a pH test, so we can move to step 2 of fixing the problems.

hell. Just get normal water, flitered, distilled, dechlorinated, and water with that until you get a pH kit.

im going to get the soil tested tomorrow, but i thought that by fixing the PH in the water that would take care of the PH problem that is why i bught a PH water tester...and i sure will keep you updated...

If your water PH tester is electronic then you can test the PH of the soil by running pure distilled water through the pot and test the run off. If not lowes or home depot might carry chemical soil PH test kits.

you need to test the PH of the SOIL

water PH dosent mean dick, your soil is going to buffer anything you put in there (except for PH buffers) to the base PH of the soil, so if you have soil of a PH of 10 and your watering with a solution of a PH of 3 the soil will eventually get back to the PH of 10 unless you put a buffe rin there like lime or ash ,,,,,,,test your SOIL PH and get back to us

slow down on the epsom salt, or anything else until AFTER pH is fixed. I dont know how to explain that pH is the most important thing. The plants can be indoors or outdoors, the nutrients can be organic or not, the plant can grow in soil or just dangle its roots in water. The 1 time, you need to pay attention is pH. after getting pH right, then fix the rest.

A pH off by more then .3 or so, is already giving you a uphill battle. If you look at the charts, youll see that 6.5 is perfect for soil. not 7. certainly not 6.

If that doesnt sound like a big deal to you, remember, something that is a 3 on the scale of pH is 10x more acidic then a 4 on the scale. 10 times.

Checking pH is a pain in the ass, i agree. What i do is i go and buy some stuff from the petstore thats a 6.5 buffer and add it in when i water. Its made for fish tanks so i know its safe enough for them to swim in. I stop using it a week before harvest, but either way, i havent grown any extra fingers or anything. I recommend getting some of this stuff so you dont have to check pH often.

If reading about pH is tough work, then fixing it is too. go buy some of that stuff.

But you cannot grow decent bud without knowing pH a little better then ¨6 or seven¨ you can treat it like a weed, and end up smoking it, or you can treat it like a lady, and actually pull some nice nugs off of it.

the chart shows it, your 6.0 ph is not allowing the plant suck up nitrogen, what they are lacking. at 6.0 they cant really absorb any nutrient because its just too acidic. the roots are burning.
