tryin putting some wet rags in the grow area to raise the humidity, and from what i've seen as the get close to cropping the leaves start to die, my friends strawberry cough did it

oh when i say cropping i mean like chopping the plant down and harvesting the buds, and wet rags evaporate water off them and raise the humidity its a cheap trick that has amazing results

no he just let it keep going and it still turned out dank, i had one friend that his stem even started to rot and he waited till it rotted all the way through then cured it and it was dank

well is it just the fan leaves or the bud, i mean you can try what you can to save them but i would only really start to worry if the buds turned bad....and they cat had to like rap his stem to keep it together it was rotting for about four weeks

well as for the buds it seems that they are ok at the moment but appears that the crumbly stuff is working inward and almost at the buds give it a couple more days see what it does i might have to crop early who knows?

so your friend had crumbly leaves on his strawberry cough?

The only thing Ive found with leaves that did that is that it took a little longer for the bud in the affected area to ripen.
