When the paper is on the table the glue strip is touching the table and it is closest to you.

When you have the paper in your hand curled with weed in it the glue strip is closest to you and you can see it directly.

Did that help? Haha i hate it im new to growing but ive smoked plenty of weed and im only 19.

Yeah I have smoked plenty over the years and just finishing up my first grow. And seen most tricks but for some reason this one just kinda slipped by me over the years apparently haha.. So I think I got it.. Just take the glue closest to me inside out.. roll it tight so there is some slack and lick the outside of the glue so it seeps through and sticks?

Yeah pretty much except i dont know what you mean by "some slack". I guess like to not roll the weed tight but i roll the paper around it tight if that makes sense?
The joint isnt bouncing around in there but the joint can still breath. I wish I had a video camera id just do a tutorial for you guys.
I just make my filter smaller than what the size of my joint will be so it creates a cone and then if i make it more lose than i want i can just pack some more bud in there.
