Can anyone tell me if the number of watts pulled from the wall is determined by number of cobs or the driver?

driver is HLG-320H-C1750B

I am running 4x 36v cxb3590s off it. How much wattage will it pull from the wall.

THe spec sheet says 320 watts but this driver can accomodate 5x 36v cxb3590s and I am only using 4x.

your driver puts out a constant current of 1750ma. you connect them in series, so they share the available voltage.

so however many cobs you attach, they will get 1.75A each. they will each pull as much voltage as needed at that current.

to determine how much power each cob is, you then multiple the amps x volts x # of cobs

1.75A x 36V x 4cobs = 252W

if you add a 5th cob you will be at 315W.
