Can Anyone Tell Me If This Fungus Is Safe To Eat?

so I have recieved fungus one time from this particular fellow before, they were gold caps, and they were widely responsible for a very successful hippyflip,
I was actually shorted 2 grams this time, which is mainly why I'm sketch. I went and picked the forgotten up, and they said they took these last night and tripped extremely hard. How ever, Anyone that has some knowledge should let me know there opinion, because This fellow, is not my friend, he's my connect the dots. and I dont want to die.

the squigglys all have a small blackish closed cap, and that big ass stem weighed like 1.7 on its own. I really dont want to ingest this unless I feel comfortable, How ever I know pictures dont really help when it comes to mushrooms, because there are so many variables. so if you have any questions that you would like answered TRUST ME I will be more then glad to hold these under a light and answer as best as I can. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and maybe assert your opinion

uggh & YUK, the only fungas (which to me translates to the same as mold) I would ever it would be known as cheese, tyvm!

There is certainly nothing wrong with eating fungus. Morels for example are delicious and psilocybe cubensis have the power to change to world. Just make sure you know what you are ingesting.

They might very well be improperly dried cubes. It looks like they have a lot of mold on them. If you eat them straight, you will likely get very sick. If you must eat them, I'd grind em up and dissolve them in orange juice or something. Probably best to just toss em though. Better safe then sorry.

You can go blind or even die if you eat moldy mushrooms...

they look like they might be vary gassy. you should not eat them around an open flame.

Lol, relax a little bit man.. Nothing wrong with eating a little mushroom's. Just remember, a lot of people say the same thing about weed.



OP, Ive never seen shroom's like that before, they look pretty gnarly.

Do a spore print. My first thought was "NO!!!" but the second pic almost looks like f'd up cubies

In my experience, mushrooms that have not been dried properly can have bacerial contamination and make you sick. Those don't look like they were dried correctly.

Update? At least check in so we know ur ok, lol.
