Well, with no pics and, a bud and trichome count, TCH, CBD, and CBN testing and some other really expensive DNA testing equipment. I would have to say the strain is some kind of marijuana. In fact, even if did have all that I still could not tell you what strain your bagseed grow is. If you find someone who can though, write a book with them, they know their shit! LOL!

Seriously though man, pics and a real question would be a place to start.

Sorry if ya think I gave you a hard time, I was just funnin ya!

Well, there they are! Very nice color and look strong. I am afraid your harvest will not be that huge. But, with that light source I would imagine you knew that already. But for a first grow learning experience you did fine. Next time more light, you can never have too much. Be good!

If you get a 300watt CFL don't you think youll regret it down the road when you want to upgrade? Might as well get a 400watt MH/HPS ballast and a HPS bulb. Then youll be set for your next grow. That's if you think you can control the temperature with the 400watt... but a 300watt CFL will put off considerable heat as well.

how many watts you burning right now? She stretched quite a bit between nodes, so you definately could use more lights in there. Looks pretty good overall though

If you decide to go with CFL's get 3000k rating or lower since your in flower

white hairs are good... means you have flowers. You should know that by now!

To answer the question, under most cases its impossible to specifically identify a strain based on looking at the plant.

Someone who is very experienced can sometimes make a good educated guess about the identity of *some* strains with particular characteristics, but that's about it.
If you happen to be growing one of the "classic" strains and an expert can see it *in person* they might be able to identify it.
A super connoisseur might be able to smell the finished buds and tell you something.

With respect to your plant, I simply don't think there is any way anyone can precisely identify the strain based on those pictures.

Your best bet of figuring out what it is is to start with where you got the seeds and work backwards from there. Who did you buy it from, where did they get it, and so forth. The likelihood of you correctly identifying the strain that way is still probably low, but its not zero.

If it was seedy commercial stuff, then what you probably have is Mexican grown stuff, sometimes called "schwagg" or "brickweed". Right now most of those are hybridized "mutt" strains, though they still can be quite good if grown right.

Lastly, as a constructive criticism, your plant is showing a lot of stem, and not a lot of leaf. That means its getting inadequate light and is stretching. Try using either more light, bringing the lights you have closer to the plant, or both.

Bullshit,I've had plants that NEED less light or they Dwarf & Wilt.
Aplant eneds to be Healthy & @ peak performancein all other factors of growth to accept intense lighting..
This is why plants can turn to shit over a few hours under your strong badboy lights.

if you have a plant that need less light as far as cannabis goes you are growing a shitty plant sorry thats just genetics as far as identifying your strain i would either need bud to smoke from it. or see all the stages of growth and data on how long each one took. but if you got it from bagseed its probably a columbian or mexican sativa/indica hybrid f2 result from open pollination (father unknown i would say it was indica because commercial growers wouldnt grow indica for qty) i would say its 70% sativa and a 10 week flowering time. also when looking at strain it helps to have a good pic of the leaves certain stands have certain leaves. adn if your going to add 300 cfl you may as well add a 400. look into diy low/high bay lights.
