Can burnt top cola recover from being too close to light

i am about 3 wks into flowering and my top cola on my lemon skunk grew about four inches thru the nite and its pretty well burnt,is there any chance the cola will recover or is it a goner

"goner" is a strong word. it'll just get fatter rather than longer.

what's burnt will not recover, but as long as there are no other issues it should at least continue to mature. like the last guy said it would more likely start to fatten rather than continue upward growth. 4 inches through the nite is pretty hardcore. sounds like a good plant.

Four of mine hit the lights when I went on vacation. All have recovered. Although some of the fan leaves looked a little burned, the plant didn't drop 'em and I didn't cut 'em.

That's happened to all of us. Once the top shows signs of heat damage that particular branch will stunt.
You are still early enough in flowering to top her right now. That will redirect the growth hormones to other
parts of the plant where they can be properly utilized. Or, if you feel particularly lucky -- remove the top
right above the next set of growing points. Then trim the bottom leaves off and split the end with a sharp
knife. Put the "clone" in a jar of water and wait for roots.

this happend to me and it grew three heads just leave it be

thanke for advice guys im considering topping it with it being quite badly burned but i didint think this was possible 3 wks into flower or am i totally wrong and is it the best thing to do,help cause i dont want to lose a main cola but if topping it is the best thing to do ill do it
