Can clones get overwatered?

what's your temp? light your using and how far away?

are they in a humidity/dome @ 95%+ humidity... and since they are drooping you can clip the tips off of the main leaves, just a little bit, like 1-2mm just off of the longer leaves...will help them to take in water, since they have no roots yet they take in water through the leaves, so by clipping will help, especially if they are drooping.

yes you can overwater. only water enough to keep slightly moist. jiffy pellets also suck. i use root riot cubes. they especially work great in hydro. plants need oxygen in addition to water

Waffle.
your clones will be fine.
After taking your cones from the plant they will droop on maybe day 2 or 3 , after 1 or 2 days they will perk back up , up to a week later u will see roots,
hang in my man ,
Peace.

I am now using Rapid Rooters - upside down - no tray - humidity dome - heating pad.

Try and let the pellets dry out. Good Growing :bigjoint:

Canna jiffy pellets do not suck , mine match root riot cubes no worries. A clone with no roots (in this case) can not be overwaterd. Peace.

sorry i meant the ones at walmart. those are the ones i have tried, not sure of the brand name. they do work but i didnt like them. now canna i havent tried anything by them but i've heard only good things about their nutrient line so im sure their version of the jiffy pellets work much better than the walmart ones. didnt know canna even made jiffy pellets. thanks for the info.

this dude did a test comparing the 2 https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=223152&page=2 some people are saying the jiffy's are faster. maybe i was doing something wrong with them. i'll have to give it a try again.

thanks. i used to use the humidity dome, heat pad, and tray but it seemed to keep everything too moist. lot of times they would get droopy. now i just use the root riot cubes but i place them each in an individual dixie cup surrounded by soil. i use soil meant for cloning/seedlings which are low in nutrients. i still use a heating pad but i dont use a humidity dome. im starting to like my aero cloner the best. near 100% success rate. i always use clone-x gel. i was told you dont need to in aero but i do anyway.

Patience!!!

Jiffy Pot Good, cloned using jiffy pots a dab of Superthrive once, no added clone gel or powder:

Skip first paragraph if you don't want the back story :)

I had a plant I got from local as a clone titled "Tangerine" knew little about but they had few to chose from. I have to many strains for my space so I figured I would let it go and let the Sour Diesel go (easy to get Sour Deez clones). 3 weeks into flowering I noticed pink pistils I was intrigued, so I did my research on this strain and now I plan to cross it with a TGA Deep Purple male and do some BX'n. I cloned it at 21 days into flowering.

I took a cut 3 week into flowering that had a nice head of hair. I got all my stuff ready Rapid Rooter soaking in ph5.0 water with a few drops of Superthrive and CRAP... I can't find my rooting gel, I try to blame my wife but that is of no use at 10pm. I run a clone/veg room under 2ft 2bulb T5 and I had taken my other cuttings 21 days earlier and already transplanted them, so I could not fit a humidity dome, not a problem!! I got crafty, took a clear Solo cup but about an inch of soiless mix in the bottom and water it, Took a sandwich baggie and made a humidity dome using the baggy as the top and rubber banded it down. 10 days later (today) I planted her
