Can Colored Cellophane effect lighting on plants?

Hi all -

I was just wondering if anyone knows if colored cellophane would have any effect on your plants if you placed it over lighting. I have some lime green cellophane and also some blue cellophane and was just curious if I covered my CFL's if it would change the spectrum on daylight and soft white bulbs.

all you are doing is adding a filter which changes what your eye sees, not what is actually emitted.
