if this was actually a legitimate "scandal", why was its manufacture premeditated by romney (see the 47% video), built up 24/7 for months by fox news, and further faked by the GOP altering emails and straight up lying about it?

Why alter email? The emails are just now showing up.

Why Lie? Well we know. Someone dreamed up a winning drumbeat, now proved false, and he went with it and won.

Fine. But, he went with it for days and got a lot of people killed. Fine.
