Can fan leaves get too big?

might sound like a stupid question but these things are getting kinda monster like,
up to about 2in across and about 8in long now and still going. Covering up most of the plant lol. Is that normal? (it's indy) i might be able to pic one if i can get my card reader to work. still veggin btw


lemme make that bit a more clear the measurements one ONE (petal) on the leaf.

started with 4 fluorescent lights 20watt 2x warm 2x cool one in each corner of the room 2 23watt cfl's overhead and later a 400watt hps overhead (added) about a week ago.

no idea bagseed.

i want them more bushy it's a closet and they started out bad i dident know what i was doing really and they stretched bad now i'm lst'in them as needed (when one shoots up a bit i lst it down to even level) as you can kinda see in the pic. I need to top them but not sure i wanna risk cutting my plant (worked hard and topping is new to me) old books say pinch the top off with your fingers and i've see others say use a blade ( and there is different theorys on to take the whole top or just part of it) i'm really confused.

Sounds like you got it covered. Is this your first grow? My first grow was bagseed. I'm curious because I am flowering some bagseed and it's almost better than my purchased seeds! When I think of bagseed I used to not picture this:

I was such a hater of growing bagseed... but now I'm not anymore.

Topping is not difficult. Just cut the top off. Doesn't matter how really. Usually when I top, I cut the top 5 inches and root it so that I can keep the perpetual harvest going. I also take a lot of clones from my mother plants.

My first self indoor...i've helped with others and i've done a few outdoors in past years. edited my post up there cause i felt like i was spammin.. but anyway yeah it's torture i wanna find out what they are allready! i started because it's really dry where i am now and i'm not even a recreational smoker ( ok maybe a little) but it mostly meds for me.. without it i can't really eat. no bud makes homer go crazy!@!#!@$

thanks for link but basically says some people say yes and some people say no and or yes this some strains.. does not say what strains (even tho this would not be useful to me i dunno what it is bagseed)
