Can genetics cause seeds?

They are not, breed me a hermie free strain.

What it is is that the hermie trait is hard wired into all genetics so all have the trait - certain strains and plants deal with stress better than others so this is the underlying factor.

Obviously no seed can be produced without pollination :-)
So you're saying that certain strains aren't more predisposed to hermaphrodism than others? We all know that things like GG #4 and GSC are prone to it, and criticize breeders whose gear who tend that way for not stabilizing their genetics. I didn't say anything even vaguely about breeding a hermie free strain... only that genetics can predispose some plants to hermaphrodism.

I also didn't say that seeds could occur in the absence of pollen, I said without VISIBLE pollen, and was specifically referring to the following: "But when bananas appear on your plants, they don’t need to “burst” in order to spread pollen, they will immediately start making pollen and often will seed the buds that are close by even if bananas are removed right away, and sometimes the pollen can drift to other plants and pollinate them as well, too" (https://www.growweedeasy.com/male-plants-bananas-hermies).

So here’s the update... I hate life.
Is there a way to tell if a plant is pollenated while in veg? I know they produce seeds and stuff in flower, but I’m trying to figure out if the everything was pollenated or if they all Hermed because of a user error with one of the lights. It somehow got left on and was on an extra 6 hours.... I know... fucking moron. Do some research before growing. It was a weird accident. Right now my stomach feels like somebody took my organs and just twisted them up super tight.
I’m trying to figure out if my veg stuff are fucked too or if the light could’ve had them all herm and make seeds and shit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Or if you could point me in the right direction, I’ll look for the answer

Also, if they are about to be 5 weeks in flower (9 weeks strains)
And they are producing seeds, would it be possible for them to spread more pollen? Or is the pollen over and now it’s seeds?
IF it was a pollen issue vs a light issue.
I’m trying to narrow down the issue and resolve it

Update. Not all the plants looks like that have seeds. Like I can actually see the baby seed. Just a few plants have that. Would it be safe to let it grow out the last few weeks since not all the stuff has hermed/ growing seeds.
This is the first time seeing a baby seed in the plants bud. It looks pretty cool.
Bud do you think I would be safe to let them grow out since they are actually making the seeds. I don’t see the pollen sacs like I’ve seen before on other plants and whatnot.
I have a tent next to them with veg stuff in it. Planned on flipping to flower in about a week. Figure I would wipe that tent down with bleach water before sending to flower to possibly help save the plants? Idk

Idk but I'll tell you this, that plant was polinated super early in flower to have a seed that mature at 4 weeks
Damn you think so? Is it possible for a male in veg to get pollen on female, but the female doesn’t create seeds since it’s in veg and wasn’t in flowr when it got pollenated?

Idk if it's common but some males can put out pollen under veg lighting if they go too long without being put in flower. I've seen it happen once myself but idk if the pollen was viable or not.
