Can/how do you get multiple harvests from one grow?

Okay, I'm pretty sure you can get more than one harvest from a crop by waiting a month.

But what's the best way to do this? How should I harvest the first time? Should I leave the big fan leaves on? Which leaves should I cut/leave in the manicuring process?

Remove the buds at harvest and then put the light on for 24 hours. Give the plants a good blast of nitrogen and it will revert back to veg stage. When it has grown out you can flower it or clone it.

Some strains are better suited for multiple harvests than others.

One of the strains I'm growing is said to be perfect for this:
