I laugh everytime I hear about all this sweetener etc etc etc shit. Your plants have a barrier for everything except the stuff they need. It is called a root system. Maybe add some carbs for your myco herd but past that plants are fairly specific about what they will and won't take in.
The plant produces the flavor, not some nutrient company.
first off taste is a verrrry subjective, I am sure that a plant in good lovingly prepared compost, grown out doors, will beat the pants off a CFL closet hydro grow using walmart/home depot nutes. But that is like comparing wild caught salmon just before the spawn to farm raised. Tom is right bad weed comes from bad growers. hell look at all the mexican super grow weed, it is shit. It was grown out doors certainly in soil too....
There are also loads of flavor enhancing additives for hydro if one wants to take a stab at it. I am guessing most dont
and BigKuz I had 2 lil hydro seedlings that were maybe 6-8 inches that were so resinous and stinky i had to go make a carbon filter months before I was ready to flower.
"resinous and stinky months before flower" Lets see.... Resin is not produced until flowering has been induced...and MONTHS before flowering? How long do you veg dude? i'm sorry but your whole statement has bad credibility written all over it
but for now they are the best veg light on the market

Yeah hydro just means you have that much more to fuck up with.
this is true hydro is easier than soil and can cut flower time down but my op not as good of bud spec in taste now no one freak out its just my 2 cents i know how sensitive some of u r to a dif opinionLol talk about a noob statement coming from someone who has never grown hydro. If you have a pH and ppm meter hydroponics is twice as easy as soil

One water change a week and adjusting the pH every other day is too much for you? Talk about lazy! I grow hydro and you do not, how are you going to voice your opinion over mine? Check my 400 watt journal to see the results, not only better than your soil grow but much easier. Have fun watering your plants every other day. I have to mess with water one time a week sometimes longer.Soil if done right takes two transplanting and watering or less.
My final project this semester was a review of using hydro to display varying nutrient def.
Stop calling people out.
Hydro is more complicated. It uses many machines typically that can fail, which is a whole issue before you get to the fact that nutrient solutions can and do separate by weight in solution.
To say that hydro is more simple then soil is the biggest understatement I have heard in a while. Countless water changes, countless readings, countless PH adjustments. Generally once per week or preferably sooner. Yeah, that's what I call simple.
