I currently have a single grow space but would like to build two separate ares so I can get something a little more perpetual going. I would like to avoid buying any new equipment and was wondering if this plan would work to ventilate both areas with what I've already got.
I would like to build two 3'x3'x5' frames and enclose them with 6mm poly. I want to put my 250w HPS in one and use 10 23w cfls in the other. I plan on having a small clip on oscillating fan in each "tent". I would like to give each tent a 10" hole near the bottom as an intake and run some ducting in an s curve to make each intake light proof. For the exhaust (this is what I'm not really sure about) I would like to run 2 separate 6 inch ducts from near the top of each tent and have them come together at a duct "y" splitter. On the other end of the split I would like to attach a 200 cfm duct booster fan and have that blowing into a small box. This small box will hold my 6" carbon filter which will be hooked up to my 6" inline fan rated at 400 cfm. The fan will be set up to blow out of an open window.
I hope this makes sense to anyone who takes the time to read it. Any help is really appreciated.
