Just wondering if I can cut fan leaves on my plants, so more light will be able to hit the buddin part of the plants. Like maybe two a day, so I dont stress the plant to much, or shuld i just let nature b and cut them when they turn yellow or die.

Sure you can if you want. Is it a good idea, no. Got a feeling you need to do more research and maybe read through some of the stickies.

i researched it just seems the fan leaves are so big around some of the bud spots, i wanted better air flow too.. its fuckin hot here now and i have a 400 wattttter hps and 10 cfls on sides going, with 3 shitty fans and no duct vents

the sativa plant it buds more so around the stem n i fugred the fan leaves were pointless, i cut the lower ones, my tall assss indicccca i didnt really cut anny of the leaves, or top it, or bend it to control the height, shes like 6 feet tall, i think im just gonna let her go past my hps light, i could raise the light, but i want to leave it low for the other plants to get suffiencient light, i neeed to produce as much yield as possible!!!

Well perhaps you could do a little pruning for airflow but I wouldn't get rid of too many. Healthy leaves are serving some purpose.

The fan leaves are far from pointless.
1) They are production machines which supply the rest of the plant with energy to use.
2) They act as a buffer for nutrients. They will help keep the rest of the plant healthy when problems occur such as nutrients. The plant can suck mobile nutrients from the fan leaves ,such as Nitrogen, to keep other areas(buds) fully supplied.
3) They also are a good indicator as to general health of the plant.

I look at it this way. If something is going wrong, the fan leaves will get damaged and not my buds. As for blocking air flow a proper air exchange should be employed. I remove the lower branches on my plants about 6" from the soil up. This helps a lot getting air through them and keeps bug infestations down.

If you think fan leaves are pointless then you need to keep researching. Fan leaves are far from pointless. We see shadows cast by them yet the photosynthetically active radiation passes right through them, to a point at least depending on the intensity of your light.

didnt mean pointless to that extreme, theres so many tho, my plant is like 6 ft tall, thank you, very easy readable and helpful!!! gloooookin
