Can I Cut Main Cola?

hi RIU .was searching around and found mixed answers to this..but my main colas seem to be almost ready (2weeks most left) but the lower buds are nowhere near ready..would i be doing damage if i harvest the top half of the plant and give the bottom buds more time?

thats perfectly acceptable and widely practiced by a lot of ppl on here, chop the top off an let the bottoms go a bit longer till they`re done
