Could I just buy some WINDOW screen and tie it at a certain height? what would the plants do? is this really bad for them? can I do this during flowering?

I wouldn't...

Are u flowering now?

Bushmaster from Humbolt counties own works but in flowering your not in a good position.

I have seen someone elsde do this same thing and he had pretty good results. I would say go for it but only as a last resort. Try super cropping and tieing first than go with a screen if it's not enough and you can't raise the light or lower the plant.

the plant just keeps out growing the light. it's ridiculous. i raise the light 1 inch. it grows 2. it just keeps overtaking the light no matter how hard i try. i'm going to try and scrog them tomorrow and see if I can do it that way. Hopefully it'll work.

i really don't want to chop my plants. you know?

Why didnt you flower em earlier?

Indica's double in size after 12/12 and Sativa's sometimes triple...

Good luck :)

ugh i hope to god not.

what happens if I run out of room? what does one do? is it really bad to start cutting near the end of flowering?

i wanted to clone them but never got the chance.

4 weeks became 5. and now 5 became 6. and they just started shooting up in the last 2 weeks - like ridiculous growth.

maybe i can do a 8 hours of light and 16 off. maybe they'll grow less this way?

i still don't know which ones are males. which sucks cause i could rip those babies out and make room.

not enough room? really only 1 solution..... get a bigger area, indica will about triple in size from the time it starts flowering to the end, most of the upward growth is during the first 3-4 weeks of flower and then they should stop somewhat. if you havent begun to flower them you really should look into topping or if flowering tie them down.

Tie them down, don't chop. A little low stress training (LST) won't hurt 'em any during the early flowering stretch. Chopping after you've switched to 12/12 doesn't give the plants veg growth time needed to redirect the flow of nutrients to the new dominant growing tips.

you can get a net trellis for about 5 or 10 bucks at any lowes or similar the holes are kinda big so as to not inhibit growth too much. but relax , huge plants are a problem a lot of people would like to have. i've got 2 varietys in my room that systematicly grow 18 to 24 inches in the first 2 weeks of bloom. try a trellis, and at the same time tie green twine to your top and bend it just a little each day. soon the males will be out of there and you'll have more room to work with.

def sucks when your plants outgrow your space, i would say yeah like these guys say bend it over and tie it down, you might even yield more. but you def want to time the start of your 12/12 cycle and get them when there short if its a strain that gets big. make sure you have enough light too, some sativas need alot of light or theyll stretch

Dam man, quite the situation you have here. I personally would suggest attempting a scrog. If you don't know what that is you should start looking into it. You can do lst and keep em short but hes right about them not having the time to veg quick enough to get the new shoots strong enough to become new dominant "tops" or colas.

window screen would filter your light alot. if you do this i would use a screen like carpentar cloth with larger holes to allow maxium light to your plants.
