Can i go 12/12 from seed with cfls?

Want to start some more beans in my flowering room, can i start beans on 12/12 and run them that way all the way through? That way i can veg these for 8 weeks, while my girls are flowering, and then just swap out around every 8 weeks, any info would be appreciated, only my second grow, soil grow, 12-26w cfls, 1 4' flourecsent fixtue running 40watters.

Do they preflower sooner? Any thing different i should do, i was on 18/6 with others, then went to 12/12 and started flowering. Same nute schedule? Water schedule?

preflowers are when they mature and show sex while vegging. i dont think theres anything different just start them on 12/12 instead of 18/6
