Can I Grow A Pound of Dope in 9 Weeks?

Starting to fill out, cant wait to see the end result. Keep upping those pics.

Here it is. 9 weeks, do you have your pound of dope yet?

Bravo to you RandyRocket. I just finished reading the entire thread, and after much reading for the past couple of months, you only confirm my thinking there is no wrong way to go about growing, only different methods for different needs or wants.

I'm just finishing my first ever grow which I did 12/12 from seed in twenty four ounce cups. I'm on a water only schedule, sadly for the girls I'm thinking they are going to meet the executioner this weekend. I will offer up tears of joy in their rememberence.

9 weeks have come, I think at lest 1.5 weeks. But the pound is in there.

They are on h2o only diets. Most are 30" tall.

Water requirements are about 2 gallon a day for all 15. Any day now this should 1/2.

The type #3's are a shocker at 50"+ they will need nutes for at least a week just waiting.



Left to right

1 - Type #3 @ 48" just into the start of the buds rippen faze.

2 - Type #3 just a bit shorter.

3 - Type #1 @ 30"+ Late rippen. will harvest this week or so I guess.

4 - Type #3 yes #3 she is the on that got burnt and never really recovered 100%. She should have stayed one nute mix behind but she got what everyone eles had. She just drank 1/3 as much. Maybe becauce she is only 20"tall. (Now thats funny only 20" and I call here the runt). She will still make 1/2 oz.

As for Type #1's yeild looks like I may get 1.5 to 2 oz.
Type #3 too early to guess.

Lets start a poll as to dry yeild. This could be fun.

My guess 485 grams dry from all 15.

No offense intended by any means. I'm going on your own commentary about your progress and I'm going with twenty seven grams per plant as an average for 405 dry. I'm blaming it on the week you were gone. I am still duly impressed with the whole grow.

Guess so far:

Heads Up = 405g dry

RandyRocket = 485g dry

Ok one of the grow kittens have looked at all the data from the last year. You think I have a lot of pictures. Well there is a boat load of data. I measue grow per day of most plant. I have a notebook of measuremets on some 60 plants grown from seed and clone. Male and female.

while workimg on her tan she adds the numbers.

(4) Type #1's these plants are 30" tall and the pride of the grow. From past grows on 12/12 from seed no plants to compare.

Data for 12/12 from rooted clone.
Data for Type #1 seed veg to 6", 9". 12", and 18"
part date for lost plat veg to monster size (very bad for my space)

Clones all stop at 24" to 28" and yeild was an adverage of 30g ea clone.

So plants 1 thru 4 guess = 40g x 4 = 160g

next are two more of #1's at around 28"

So plants 5 and 6 guess = 30g x 2 = 60g

Type #3 data all way you cn think of. But the plants grow one of two ways.

runaways are all over 50" in other 12/12 grows these plants take 2 weeks longer and produce 35g.

So plants 7 thru 11 guess = 35g x 5 = 175g

one is a new way in between size 40"ish?

So plant 12 guess = 30g

two grew the short way just better then any other grow. 28"

So plants 13 and 14 guess = 24g x 2 = 48g

and the little 20"er guess 12g

160 + 60 +175 + 30 + 48 + 12 = 485g Total dry guess.

That's why i'm guessing 485g (a little kitten did the math)

But MrsRocket and myself are happy with 200 grams

Well the awswer to Can I grow a pound of dope in 9 weeks? No I can not.

But I will get close to a pound that is the part of the question that was loaded a I never thought I had a chance at a pound. This grow the sex gods love me. The time god did nothing special.

So it looks like a standard flower time just no veg time. I should start harvest this week as hair get to 50% - 75% range I like. At this point all I can do is wait. And waiting I am. and waiting ..... waiting.

But as I wait let me take a pic and post it.


oh I added a seceret weapon to raise yeid light. I may add an other one this week.

They are looking nice Mr. Rocket. For 12/12 from seed they turned out great, but it's too bad you're not going to get your LB. Oh well close enough, let us know how they smoke.

I think I'll get the pound or at lest close it will just take longer than 9 weeks. Mostly the week out of town, plus these things grew more then I thought they would. More heigth groth also means more time. I have until the end of April so no panic yet. This grow will be done before I move even if it's a green harvest but I shold be ok.

Oh I see what you meant, just the timeframe was off. Well that's cool, hopefully that pound will last you guys a while.

thanks but it's not over yet.

1 week for strain #1 of rippening

strain #3? these one are over 52"

harvest this week with wet weights some of #1's

then weight as drys and cures until final weight in a few more week.

I would say it takes you just as long as me with a 3 week veg. I think the vegging is worth it cos of yield. Nice experiment tho, still wanna know the final figures, which imo would have been alot higher if you would top your plants. Keep em short and grow rockhard buds allover that pack some weight. A 400 just dont reach down that deep.

I have been looking at the grow notes, ok I'm packing for the move stoned and spent three hours looking at the as I packed.

I may come in a week ahead of some plants vegged for two weeks. so net time gain is 1 week maybe as this one is still growing and could tie.

also not so many plants at once, I can't smoke it all. the extra just goes to the deep freeze. then the 400 could shine around bousting yeild. this i'd like to check out? pos experment? 6 only under the sweet spots? this ones not over and look at me I'm buzzed.

as for experiment oh yell stay tuned. I'll try lots.

How dense is the bud with your 400? I recently got a 600 and was just wondering what to expect in terms of fluffyness/density.

Just saw this grow. I read through it all and I must say Good Show. I have been looking into the hole 12/12 from seed thing lately.
