can i harvest a branch before full harvest?+rep

so today i bought a scope and i was looking at the trichs at the different bud sites and most of them were milky but i noticed on one branch there was a nice bit of amber and milky trichs. would it harm the plant if i just went ahead and chopped that branch? thanks

go ahead! its actually a common practice to harvest some of the top so light can reach the lower buds on the bottom of the plant

agreed ^ ... many times I have heard of people harvesting the top cola only which that in itself opens up the plant so more light nac reach the lower bud points. I also say.... go for it.

agreed.. go ahead and chop the branch that you desire to give a try.. it won't do any harm at all to the rest of a healthy plant..

It often happens that certan parts of the plant matures quicker, and it don't hurt the plant any to chop that part off and you'll have a little something to smoke while waiting for her to fully mature.

just keep it in a closet with room temps and a fan blowing air around the closet, keep it in a dark closet as well.

Depending on humidity. Mine is 45% i hang forn4-6 days then into the jar. The stems should be able to snap.. Good luck, smoke well..

so i couldnt wait for a reply so i went ahead and took the branch and set it up in a nice dark closet with the fan set on low giving the area a little breeze. sorry i dont have a camera right now or id get pics but this pic is a month and some old of the branch tell me what you think. +rep
