They have been in flower for almost 3 months. One hermied an pollinated the other... Im Over this grow. If I wanted shit buds I would of bout some stress from the guy down the street.. my question is can I go ahead an cut em down. I dont have anyway to check the cloudiness of the tricombs. An I dont have any intrest on wasting money on a micro.. riddled with seeds.

I think the "perfect" time to harvest is when you're satisfied. I tend to always harvest a bit earlier than the norm round here. I will cut nugs off and vape them. If it gets me where I wanna be, I just go ahead and chop when it feels right. Bud in 3rd pick natural light is a beauty bru. Nice job.

Ya you could cut em down now but I think you would be happier with the end product if you let them ripen up more. Don't get down on your efforts man they look good!

I just don't understand why anyone after putting in all the time and $ would even think about cropping early! Unless its junk and a lost cause. I've picked my outdoor early before cause it was either now or never (choppers, hunting season and what not). But in your own environment WHY!! C it done way to often. Needed cash or out of smoke or some other BS. "We pick no kind before its time". One of the biggest grower errors of all time! But the hairs were all orange or whatever. Dude the shit didn't even swell yet. All I can do is SMH!

those aren't nearly close enough to be finished, i'd wait. Not to mention the seeds won't be mature if you pull early, and if you are this far, might as well let it go and see if the resulting cross gets you any special phenos. I mean if you bought those seeds to begin with you, then youe are obviously into the genetics, so why not see what you have made, maybe you got lucky man.
but it's your call.
Keep in mind it won't be nearly as stony as it could be that mature.
it's got another 15-20 days or so at least.

Dude. I'll harvest MY plant when I get good and damn ready.

What time what money? I grow for personal, Hempy and Lucas Formula and it takes me maybe 5-10 minutes a week to mix up food. Everything else on autopilot.

I also figured up my costs of consumables. I don't count my time. You can personal grow a micro set up for a few dimes a gram.

It's just weed. Damn relax if a mofo collects his bounty a bit early.

Get a camera and take a pic of the flowers, with or without the flash, however, flash is better for seeing the color of the trichs, zoom in on the pic until you can clearly see what color the trichs are, then harvest accordingly.

You said one hermied on you and pollinated the other. Why would you keep a hermie in with your flowering ladies to the point of it pollinating your other plant(s)? When you notice that a plant is a hermie, it should be removed ASAP, as not to ruin your whole crop. If it only had a few nanners on it, it's not a huge deal.... nanners usually happen during late flowering and the seeds will never reach maturity.

The resulting seeds from your hermie-pollinated plant can have a 50% chance that they'll be a hermaphroditic plant as well. Those seeds may not grow the plants you want them to.

the point is you spent time (a lot of it) and money (a lot of that too) to do a half ass job because people get impatient. Do whatever you like with your crop, but anyone with an ounce of patience will be rolling their eyes.

WTF? A few minutes a week and a few dimes a gram? Seriously? Man it's just weed. I vape a bud and figure out when I wanna cut.

you didn't just spend a few minutes a week. you spent months waiting. I dont know about you, but I spent about $800 or so setting up my room. So if you want to reduce that to "a few dimes" thats up to you. but I've added up all my costs, and i like to get as much fruit of my labor and cash as possible.

I don't even flower I just harvest the leaves and smoke them. And 12 weeks flowering? I think you have light leaks or something

If you pay attention to your plants, they will let you know when they're done. The color of the trichs tell the grower when the time is right to harvest, NOT the hairs on the buds. The hairs are more of an indication of ripeness... wait for the hairs to turn a brownish color or wait for them to start withering before you harvest. Brownish or withering hairs are an indication that your plant is ready to harvest.

Like what has been said here over and over again.. Why screw up your pant and its harvest by harvesting too early? Wait until the trichs are at least mostly milky/cloudy before harvesting. I don't understand the advice that some of you have given... either you don't know what you're talking about.. or you've been doing things wrong this whole time. Please stop giving out shitty advice.. it's not fair to the grower or those attempting to help the grower.

Yea you get back wot you put in........me I like to run my rooms like a fkn military operation.........that way I'm assured of getting my cost back......a good profit and a load of smoke to do till the next ones ready....isn't that how it's done........

Papa canna is right. It takes more than a couple minutes just to transplant into a new container much less run even the smallest of grow rooms. I even factor in the time I spend going to the store to buy grow products. Time is money.

I just took into account the casual observation that the OP said he was 12 weeks in flower. Now I know that doesnt mean its finished  but if the dude wants to get high, he has to be gettin close anyway.
