Can I have it too humid in my humidity dome for germinating?

The plants were stretching too much. So I lowered the lights. Now some of the plants leaves are curling down away from the lights. That means they get too much light? Unfortunately the plants which are placed at the ends of the lights are still stretching, what means they don't get enough light... :-/

Find a happy medium. Raise them slightly each day until they all seem to be reacting the same way. It's not rocket science lol

My lights are 90cm only but the area which needs to be lighted is at least 100cm. Also it is around 50 cm wide...
What light/reflector fixture would you recommend me for an area of 100x50cm?
I will need it later also for propagating clones. So I will need to put the humidity dome on it. That means I will have the lights over the lid, and that means the lights will be in a height of around 30 cm.
Any recommendations, what I should get? LED would be too expensive?
Probably a 120cm t5 reflector fixture?

Buy a 600 hps. It was my 1st light I bought. My 1st grow I averaged .75 gram per watt using one.
Led if you can afford it buy quantum board or similar.
If money a problem ignore the qb and cob lovers on here and buy whatever you can afford. More watts healthier plants and more yield.

Ah sorry I answer so many threads. Seedlings I plant as soon as they get leaves and put under a hps but with light further away. Clones I don't mess with. Never tried rooting one. I don't look for keepers as such. Sprout seed. Bang in soil. Give her light and food and let her grow.

As long as your lights are raised high above the plant they will not burn them , but if someone says that the humidity dome dosnt boost or better the plant they are only stating an option not fact.
You have to remember some of these strains start off in good humidity with heat and a nice warm soil which is better for root production just like If u had a empty basement with a fish tank in the corner slightly with water in it where do you think mold , plants , mildew, fungus will start to grow first the most humid wet place.

Dome off when everything's up (or 24 hours is the most I'll leave dome on if something really needs it) but I continue to bottom heat for up to 3 days for best results!

I will install the hps lamps today and put the seedlings under them. My t5 lights are fucking the plants up, as the light coverage isn't great and uniform enough. Some are stretching like shit. That needs to stop. Some stretch really strong and at the same time some get too much light. Unfortunately yesterday even 10 plants dried out yesterday.
For future i will get a 120cm 8 bulb t5 reflector set up. Now it is too late.
I have a question about the calmag products. In the calmag products there is normally contained nitrogen? I am planning to mix it myself.

The hps will definitely reduce the stretch massively. Just make sure you hang it high enough to not burn the seedlings

My T5HO lit plants (6500k or >) in veg stretch a lot less than those same plants vegging under hps. I disagree, in that regard. Hanging the light high is smart, though.

That's because hps are dual spectrum. They will do the entire grow. You try flowering with your t5 6500k and you will be disappointed with the results. For veg and getting as close as you can to the canopy t5 all the way
