Can i keep on vegging?

My plant is showing sex in the vegetation stage. People have told me to switch my lights to flowering. But i was wondering if i could keep it in the vegging stage so that the plant can grow bigger? or do i have to switch my lights to flowering?

hmm not to sure on this. i thought u could veg for as long as u want. but if its showing sex then i wouldnt think so. i would change to flowering........ ur plant is still gonna double, even triple in size when u flower.

If it is showing sex in veg you can still keep vegging,showing sex is just giving you a sign that it is sexually mature but like Smoke said keep your amount of space in mind as they do get big in flower.:peace:

pookiedough is correct. you can technically veg forever as long as you have minimum 18hrs on 6 off to 24hrs on. when the plants flower, you are looking at 150% increase in size minimum. My columbian red haze grew 200% from veg. I do not know if i am saying the percentages right but if I am not, I'm just saying 1.5 times bigger at the very least.

You can veg them forever if you wanted to have some trees lol as they do explode during flower. Pookie is right, if your space is limited, you better prune/top it so it doesnt get unmanageable.
