Can I leave the top of my weed tent cracked?

If smell is not an issue, getcha an exhaust fan, you can place it outside the tent with a 4” hose running into the tent (on a low port) on the opposite side of the tent put a 2ft piece of 4” exhaust pipe out of a top port, allow ing a ft or more to hang outside the tent angled downward (this should be long enough to not allow light in). You’ll pull outside air in from the top and out of the floor.
This is a very basic setup but all I would bother with given the size of your tent / light.

Something like this would be a good investment. Actively moving air in/out of the tent is pretty helpful for controlling humidity.
This is a super cheap one, but better than nothing.

I use a cheap carbon filter inside and a 4" biscuit fan on the outside of my 2 x 2 x 4 tent.
I use a Inkbird humidity controller to control the humidity where I set it. It works great.
If you're growing autos it shouldn't be a problem with light getting in. But photos I wouldn't do it.

A Fan is most important to Move air around and through the plants, During thick veg minute amounts of stagnant gases build up around and through the thick vegetation and will cause powder mildew and mold during bloom. Be careful and move that Air around. During budding I keep my exhaust running with a fan inside and a small fan at the bottom outside vent pushing air around the pots, besides bugs hate moving air and they love to leach out of freshly watered pots. Flying Gnats, Spider Mites and such.
