Can I mix organic soil with MG Potting Soil?

I have a good plan for a hopefully decent soil. I bought your basic MG Potting Soil. I mixed 4 gallon of that with 5 gallon of ground soil. (Around here, it's more clay like, but not too bad.) I've mixed 1 gallon of sand, and added 1/2 gallon of perlite. (There's also some in the MG POtting Soil)

Not, I went out and bought two bags of Organic Potting soil. Is it smart to mix some of the organic to my mixture? Is this a waste?

Don't use the ground soil. You are asking for a lot of bugs and such if you do. And if its clay based, its gonna give probs also. (no air)

I'd just stick with a standard bagged soil. Be it MG, Scotts, FF, etc. with a bit of perlite mixed in.

Well, I actually changed my mind earlier on today. I've decided to mix the standard MG Soil with Organic soil and extra perlite. How does this sound?
