You would never need to water it if u put next to running water if it dont dry out. Which is a good plus! Just check the dirt and see how wet it is as u dont want it super close to the creek like 6-12 feet away maybe more depending how the location is and if it was to rain alot it would flood out plus the size of the creek then maybe go back a lil more

If you are in California or Oregon the creek will only go down through summer, so no problem. Elsewhere the fluctuations might drown the roots.

Cannabis is a water loving plant, but by no means is it aquatic. It needs regular water/drying cycles to survive. The roots DO require Oxygen, and at tims large amounts. If it stays wet constantly i may be a bad place to grow. Cannabis is very prone to root born diseases, especially when dealing with moisture and rot. Now if he can plant them 'close' to the stream where it stays 'damp' at best it may work. Otherwise he may have to deal with weekly checkups and bringing water to them from the stream in the most severe case.

@whiteb2727 has done some swamp grows, not sure if he's been around lately. Im sure with the right genetics it can be done

Lived and grew on an island that flooded almost daily. Bud rot was only a problem on one specific red diesel that had an ant problem as well. Root rot was more of an issue, but a weekly dose of H2O2 in the reservoir helped with that. Bud worms were also a problem, but only in one of the dep houses.

And when I say the island flooded, I mean our 100 gallon pots floated when the tide came in

Swamp tubes. I made some simple ones from stacking a couple fabric pots together. Straight peat moss with lime on bottom 6 inches and the rest with good soil. Just make sure you stake them good so the wind doesn't topple them over.

thanks to all of you !
its not going to flood much or starve for o2 but i dont trust the endgame. i just dont see enough wind and heat getting through the dense shit. im sure they will be great till the end when mold season comes. the soil is beautiful , i dont see a prob with the roots , i just see the entire area is so wet that it will probably mold after the flowers form.
i got diesel dog

thin mint.
any of them hearty enough ? i know nothing about this batch of seeds except thin mint finishes faster then the others (in our indoor setup)
