Well theoretically the drying process is what brings out the flavors and smells. If you dry too short, you destroy the flavors and smells. 10-14 days is a good dry time. Hell, even if it took 21 days to dry, it’ll still be better than a 5-7 day dry. The drying process uses up the chlorophyll. If the bud goes into jars with chlorophyll still in the buds, it’ll taste nasty and be harsh. The curing stage is just to evenly distributed the moisture into all the buds. If I pinch a bud I can definitely smell it. Smells sweet like candy and cookies. I just hope I don’t mess up the dry!! Or even worse... get mold
