Can I start to flower after 18" / 3-4wks from seedling

I am either going to autoflower or just grow some reg. plants but I just want to get in and out with some good yields / herb. I was thinking to wait maybe till the plant is 18" then switch it to 12/12 with 2 - 1k watt HPS on 100 girls .

Im looking for the up's and down's of a set up like this , so please say whatever is on your mind

100 girls with 2k watts, and you trying to veg till 18". idk how this is going to work

I can fit 32 under one 600 so I'd say 2k and 100 is very attainable.

I would rather do a few larger plants myself after doing high number sog's for years.

questions: what strain and how many sq ft are you packing the plants into?

Master Kush , Bubba Kush , O.g Kush or Sour Diesel something that can has that kush smell / taste / look


Those are the one's Id like to grow . The room is 15x10 . I was planning on putting to plants per 5gal bucket.

100 5 gallon buckets is alot of buckets. If you had a mover I'd say go for it.

So how you think ill yield off this many plants since im going to flower them after 18" like some member did her that walked away with a decent crop.

Well plants double to triple in size throughout flowering remember, with the exception of auto's im not sure about them.

" The overall yield was 304g from the 2 Auto AK's & 1 x lowryder2, that was including stems though. I don't personally have scales so not sure of individual weight. But a great result anyway. "

Off 3 autos? I find that hard to believe if that is the dry weight. But if so then more power to him

Yeah did my math, last time I checked "to" wasn't a number. But 50 5 gallon buckets is alot of work. I would ho hydro myself. I'm in transition to converting everthing over to aero anyway. Super fast growth and its so easy. The fence post style are the easiest to build.

If I were growing in 5 gallon buckets I would expect to pull a minimum of 6 oz per plant.. That is what I would expect with a one week veg. If you are flipping when your ladies are 18", I assume that you have been vegging for a bit. If that is the case, depending on strain I would expect to pull over 6 oz per plant easy with any good yielding strain. That is if you can get enough light on all of them. I would personally want 4 plants for each light fixture max with plants that big.

Well since im probably going with auto's 6oz would be great per plant but doubt that would EVER happen , ill personally be happy with 1oz off each auto plant anything more will make me jump in joy. To get to 18" on a reg. plant how long would that take with good light and nutr's

Depends on the strain and the spectrum of light you use to veg. If you veg under to much red, you will stretch your plant and have huge internode length, but you may reach 18" pretty quickly. For most plants using MH to veg or Flourscent I think you would be at 18" in a few weeks. Depends on nutrients, are you using CO2, lots of variables.. If you are using LED's, I can only speak from a test I am doing right now and I find that the internode spacing under quad band 2 watt LED's is incredibly tight. I have 7 or 8 nodes on my plant that I have been vegging for around 3 weeks. That is after I have removed the bottom third of growth and the plant is only maybe 8" tall, maybe 10" now.. So if you use LED's, it will take a bit longer to get to 18" but you will have tons of nodes..
