Can I use clones in Jiffy pots in DWC?

Or is it....?

Anyways, you don't want your rez above 58 F. Any higher than that and you'll have pH problems, root rot, fungus and so on until your plants die.

The jiffy pots will end up shedding into your rez but it's easily cleanable. If your airstones ever get clogged just soak in bleach water and scrub lightly with toothbrush.

Please rinse off bleach water before putting back in the tank though.

58 degrees!! Wow that will never happen in my grow room. I have the growers bible and it says keep res between 65-75 degrees optimal and make sure not to go to 85 degrees or more. I was also thinking how do poeple do these outdoors then but they do. So it seems it can go over 80 especially in California. Thats where the confusion lies. I will update you guys when I get home. Peace!! :joint::?

you want an ideal res temp at 65-68 so the watre hits roots around 70 degrees F any hotter and issues come and much colder you shock the roots

What about in my case the res is also the container. I have a 5 gallon Deep Water Culture with a top feed drip line.
Temps in the container/Res have been around 76-78 degrees. I think the plant could tuff it out possibly. How do people do DWC's outdoors then? I could see res temps going way higher outdoors. That's wierd that MJ can handle 80+ degrees in soil but in Hydro it can't take it. :spew:
