Can I use hydroponic ferts in soil?

I did my first grow hydroponically, but i'm thinking about switching to soil.

My question is: can I use the nutrients I already have in a soil setup?

I'm using the Cutting Edge line (the whole thing), MOAB for bloom, along with Pro-tekt and Thrive alive.

What do you guys think?

im not familiar with the cutting edge line but i know for canna the aqua( water)and terra (dirt) are specific to their applications. the same goes for fox farm big bloom or grow big i forget wich one..but alot of nutrients are application specific ...just like some hydro nutes can only be used in a run to waste system and not a recycle system...i would read the bottle very carefully and check the website..imo if in doubt go get some specific nutes....:bigjoint:

The common attitude seems to be hydro nutes can definitely be used for soil; however, non-hydro nutes are rarely suitable for hydro. Hydro nutes contain a lot of trace minerals that soils already have, but regular nutes are probably highly lacking.

They should be very beneficial if used properly.

common attitude isnt fact...or what is suggested by some of the manufacturesbongsmiliewhile some hydro nutes contain certain trace minerals others dont concentration levels might not be the same from soil to water and therefore create deficiencies or overload.....

Hmmm... it still seems like it's not specifically giving the OK to use them in soil...what do you think?

I think them stating, "Yes." As a sentence, then talking about soil.... that.... Yes.

Use them at 1/4, or 1/2 potency. See if it works.

i've got some "botanicare pure blend pro bloom, for hydrogardens" gifted from a friend.

i haven't been using it because it says it for hydrogardens

could i use mine as well?

pretty much all advanced nutrients are for both soil or h20, i know that doesnt help you but it might somebody.. oh and why would you want to go to soil??

word, thanks guys. yeah, after messing with my plumbing, i can definitely see why soil is easier. although i'm wondering if i'll get the same yield as i did on my first grow in hydro (5 bubblegum ladies yielded 1lb, 1oz under a 600 watt HPS). what do ya think?
