Can I use my foxfarm nutes with Pre-fertalized soil?

I bought the wrong bag of soil at HD yesterday. I meant to get plain soil with no fertilizer, but apparently got the wrong one. Can I still use my FoxFarm nutes with this soil (feeds for 3 months) or is that overkill? Both literally and figuratively?

If you add additional nutes to that soil prematurely, you will burn the shit out of your plants. Most of those pre-fertilized soil mixes have time-release nutes that will not overfeed regardless of how much you water them. Basically, you're stuck with it for 3 months before you can safely add more nutes. I think you should return that shit soil you bought and get the real stuff. Do it right the first time.
