Can I Use Ph Up/Down that is Used for Pools to Use that with Growing?

I needed to know, can i use ph up/down that is used for pools to regulate my ph levels in my soil? It seems to me it is the same thing, but maybe there is one especially for plants, i dunno. Because if it can be used, i can get it at home depot, but if not, i have to order it online because there are no stores around my town that carries that shit.

I use vinegar and baking soda for my up/down. Works perfectly fine, as matter of fact I believe I learned this from a thread here in the forums.
