Can I Use This Bulb w/o a ballast ??

150w hps w/ a standard lamp socket ... I have an extra 250w ceramic clamp light. Thank you .. I do not want fire - THCHEAD

Nope, you can't. I have 2)100 watt and 1)150 watt and they all require a ballast. all are hps as well.
