can i use this for flowering?

can i use 4 26 watt soft white cfls that give off 1700 lumens a piece for just 4 plants that are soil grow and not letting them grow tall, they are flowering now, do u think i can use these, what would b a guess in my yielfd even tho i dont mind if my yields not big, i just want the potency

not even close to enough light for one plant. The minimum is something like 20 000 lumens. I use 7 4 foot 52 w T5's totalling 35 000 lumens, one of my T5's gives off more than your entire setup, and I use two or three for clones alone. Any kind of fluoro needs to be Ho (high output). Soft white is also no good, some will say it is, but you get orange cfl's or tubes are better, lower kelvin rating but high lumen output, and an orange glow is better.

more lights bro. do the math be4 you go buying all those light and all the sockets. you can dam near buy a hid for all the cost ou will have vested in cfl's.good luck

yea but look guys i dont have a huge grow space so i dont need crazy lumens my grow area for the plants is 4 sqaure ftt

controlling the temp in a box with HID is next to impossible, you lose surface area due to light burns as well, for box grows cfl's for box and tubes for rectangle

i understand its just im looking to get like a half oz off of each plant but i want the potency, what u think the outcome of my bud would b using what i have now compared to if i had 3 lights per plant

you'll get the potency regardless, but unless your flowering anything bigger than 3 inch clones in dixie cups you'll need more lights.

you will have more stem than bud, a long lanky emaciated looking plant, pale leaves. Your potency will be among the lowest possible. You have to understand that light and nutes are essential, you cant grow without them.
You would be better off throwing them outside ..

my plants are strong they have good vent and nutes and they are greener than ever they are a foot and a half tall im only doing this for flower and dont have pale leaves so yea

exactly, you have to have the light penetration threw the plant

if you get a vnted hoodyou should be able to control your temp, as for space thats your call. you no what you can fit in there.

then you will get that with what you have if thats allyour looking to yeild.
