can I use this kinda pump?

Alright I got circulating pump from a 20 foot pool that is ment for 530 gallons.I want to connect it to a rubber made tote.I know that airstones will work,but all I need is a filter and hoses.is this pump too big or strong to work that low of water?this link is the exact one I want to use.

yeah I could choke those lines,the hoses start at 1 inch,so,will 1/2 inch be enough or should I try 1/8 or 1/16 size hose?not sure how the pressure will effect the pump

alright,how bout this.I have a valve that just happen to fit the intake on the pump,so now I can regulate the pressure with this valve

ok so I'm gonna hit the plumbing section of hpomedepot.I have a feeling this valve is key,I'm gonna run it full blast and slowly bring it down.I'd do it the the other way but the pressure will most likely pop the pump.I need a filter but wouldn't that mean I would need to change to water more offten since it be filtering out the nutes?pics coming

just wondering if anyone has used filters in their pump like I want to use.Want to know if it would be filerting out the good stuuf or leave it?

Your just gonna have to change out ur water n n nutes and clean the filter n pump every once in awhile not much u can do about that I think
