Local supermarket doesn't stock molasses can Unrefined dark Muscovado be used as an alternative?
What are you planning to make with it?Local supermarket doesn't stock molasses can Unrefined dark Muscovado be used as an alternative?
Not wanting to make anything , I'm wanting to mix it with water for my final flush. I've read when growing organically it's a good thing to do lolWhat are you planning to make with it?
Would you recommend I use it now , I'm currently at the beginning of week 5 flowerI every now and then use blackstrap molasses (it's called black treacle here in the UK) during flowering but I wouldn't use it to do a flush. I only use it to feed the microherd in the soil, and I use a terra preta style soil which I reuse over and over (I've been using the same soil for a few years now).
Muscavado will work for feeding the microherd but its not anywhere as rich in minerals etc as molasses is.
Yeah you might as well. I don't know how long you have left of flowering as different strains vary a lot in their amount of weeks flowering, but I'm guessing you have at least 3 weeks left if not more. I wouldn't use any more than a tablespoon to a gallon of water (obviously scale that down for less water used - 3 teaspoons make a tablespoon).Would you recommend I use it now , I'm currently at the beginning of week 5 flower
