Can leaves be used?

Trichomes are the source of THC which gets you high. They are the little crystally looking things all over buds & some leaves. Some plants produce more than others. No need to apologize - no question is dumb or stupid.

eh, my unknown strain doesnt show any signs of trichs... :(

anyway, as far as i know, its possible to make hash from all leaves, even big ones ;)

My plant was flowering for almost two months before they started popping up. Be patient & they will come.

I didnt realize that the big leaves dont do anything... I made cannabutter with my friends leaves from his first grow recently and it worked very well... almost too well. Then he got me into growing.

Cannabutter is easy to make, I just take all the leaves and a couple cubes of butter in a Crockpot and turn it on for 24 hours or so. Then filter out the leaves with one of those reusable coffee filters and refrigerate the butter, or use it in some baked goods right away. I put it in everything.

by looking in seed-catalog, some strains is clearly green, with no trichs at all, so I guess not all strains show trichs.

damn, its realllly hard to pronounce word "trichs" :D
