Can my worms eat my pet hair?

So I'm brushing my dog and throwing the dead hair in the trash like I always do. Then I wonder, "Is there another use for this stuff"? My shepherd goes thru hair like water thru perlite and I must have thrown out tons of it over the years. It's just dead organic matter right???

Even as I'm writing this I'm having my doubts but it seems like a shame to waste all this good, dead hair. I have a vermicompost bin. I have dead hair. It just makes sense, no???

lol ! Well let's see our options here for what we could do with mut hair .......

BreatheSmoke that is awesome! That seals the deal for me, Jethro's hair is going in the bin! After I add the castings to my plants it'll be like smoking my dog!
