Won’t throw a un healthy plant in flower
Definitely not suposed to look like that , or I wouldn’t be here asking I study and try to research everything I can before I ask people just can’t find anything on it no tap water using a r/o water supplemented with cal mag before my reg

ya I was thinking calcium or sulphar my cal mag is straight cal mag no nitrogen or iron by the way I found the two by there self because nitrogen in the botanic care was messing with the nitro in mills
Are symptoms coming and going?
Such as worse at lights on, but better by the end of the day? Or vice versa.
Better after feeding, but worst right before next feed?
Any patterns or coincidences at all?

Is this nutrient replacing an old one you were using?
If the npk is similar to the old, what's the calcium % like in comparison?

Tupar coco feed 700ppms every feed usaly two days at 5.9-.6.3
Hang on..every two days, not everyday?

I think that's the cause right there, if so.

Your nutrient profile is likely on point.
Coco might be drying out too much between feeds.

At least once a day would be more ideal.
Ppm sounds about right, but may change on more frequent feeds. You might need to lower it a touch, just play it by ear.

I don't really believe you have anything to worry about. They really do look very healthy.
Increase feeds to once per day, instead of every second and I think those symptoms will likely go away on their own.

Not that I have noticed , same nutes since I started and yea every two days was susficient up untill last last week so I trans planted up but definitely could of been the drying out this didn’t start till about the time two days was too long I’ll keep an eye the 5g should buy me that extra day if not I’ll start feeding every day you think lower ppms ???? I was kinda thinking cutting out the cal mag and upping my base since mills has cal mag proportioned correctly also that might take care of any any sulphar problems as it’s in the a and b aswell thanks for reply’s appreciate it

Yeah I really think feeding frequency is all it is.

Not pH, nutrient profile, coco buffering or anything serious. Just the high CEC in the coco. It could be robbing a little calcium as it dries, before the next feed.
If there's plenty of perlite, overwatering shouldn't be much concern at all in the new pot.

Ppms sound about right to me.
Just play things by ear. If your waste ppms start climbing, it's probably a good indication to lower your input ppm slightly.

So far they are steady never more the plus 200 ppms runoff then what’s going in . What does cec mean I’m not familiar with the term this is just my second run , first run was in soil ocean forest finished put fire but did have mad problems in veg do to over watering right of the back and lack of knowledge of when to feed got it straightened out but opted for coco this round still figuring out my style so far I’ve loved coco up untill this point no issues and substanctiualy healthier in veg pic from first harvest in fox farms

They are not in flower lighting is still 18/6 and they are in 5 gals thank thoe it’s possible one of these pics were taking before transplant on Sunday
one of the pots in the picture looked very small compaired to the plant.
When I turn the plants over to flower the top new growth tends to go a pale green and you get a cluser of thin leaves, simlar to your about 7 days in flower 12/12.

They are really, really nice man! So tasty looking.bongsmilie

Lol yeah, sorry, the term bugs me too. It's just a fancy way of saying the coco's like a sponge, but also releases and absorbs nutrient as well between wet and dry periods. Just like soil. Cation Exchange Capacity is a soil term.
But coco is different to soil, because it's mostly cations like calcium, potassium and magnesium which it exchanges.

High potassium feeds are generally a no go in coco. Causes a lot of lockouts and salt buildup in my opinion.
Many coco specific nutrients have lower potassium in the NPK.

Sodium is the absolute worst. But dirty coco's almost a thing of the past.

Would love a in between medium of soil and coco
You're gonna love coco then. I actually think it's more forgiving than other DTW hydro.

If hand watering is bugging you, an automated system will change your life.

No you wouldn't lol. CEC is cation exchange capacity. It's a high CEC medium.
Thanks I will look that up , any specific reason why I wouldn’t , I love coco so far but don’t wanna feed more then once ever two days , Wich was how it was with soil last runnin flower but I hated how long it took to dry out in veg I have a plant that’s 50/50 in coco and fox farms in the small tent doing great so far we will se as the plant changes its needs but almost every plant in my big ten now started in soil first (so I could just water seedlings and not fuck it up mixing nutes that early ) but as soon as they go there first pot up they went to coco And started with my regular feeding and loved it up until the last 4 days about a months month and a weeks time difrence so I tried a 50/50 ratio mixed week threw out the whole life to se if I can get the advantages I want from both we will se tho having some fun for now till goes wrong and I pull my hair out lol

Definitely see an automated watering system in the future cause I dooo love coco so far just hard to mix feed and clean run off every day sinc I work 6 days a week untill 6 pm then have to cramp my hustle and grow all together in 4 hours left in the day to be asleep by 10 pm so I can get up at 5am and do it agin I love the herbs and growing been waiting most my life to be able to grow , still just tryna figure out how to balance everything together, hoping by next year I will find a style that suitable for my schedule but still has some labor involved I love being in my garden and want hands on work but some days would be nice if I had a bit of help or slightly more automated just don’t wanna turn my grow into a robot machine , in there is about the only time I get to my self so it’s nice and peaceful for me to get that break from the rest of the go go go go in my life

No worries.

Maybe promix would suit your own circumstances better?
It's just a little more unforgiving if overwatered, or there's salt build up.
Coco + perlite it's almost impossible to overwater. Some coco grows get several feeds per day. And any buildup or lockout, it's almost always simple as a flush and reset. Or increase feed frequency.

All the best man. I really don't think you have anything to worry about, besides your feed frequency. Plants look great. :leaf:

If you don't want to water everyday or more, than coco isn't for you. Coco needs to be watered at least once a day if not more once you have a fully established plant, like yours.

Yeah probably ganna automate the feeding I realy wouldn’t mind if I had time I love the coco , my buddy was able to run his every two days by using bigger pot in fortunately I don’t think it’s ganna work for me

I was going to suggest just before, to maybe try Blumats as your automated system, using coco.

Haven't used them myself, but people dial them just right. To the point there's never any need for runoff, if so, only rarely.
Might be perfect in your circumstance?

Anyway i'm off for today. Have a good 1.

I was interested in thoes but I was thinking that I need to produce runoff to make Shure I don’t get salts built up , I gues I could just figure a lower ppms to feed it , this blue mate would be heaven for an organic soil , or top dressing plants
