Can smoking devices change withdrawal effects?

For example, if someone smoked for five years using a bong or pipe as opposed to someone vaporizing for those five years, and then quit... would the withdrawal effects be less harsh depending on the method? I would assume withdrawal would affect you less if you vaped since you'd be avoiding all of those chemicals created by combustion and getting much more of a pure hit. I just recently bought a vape (nothing fancy just to be healthier) and have noticed improved circulation and quality of sleep. So it got me thinking, if you get used to the different type of high plus eliminating all of those carcinogens and chemicals, would it change your withdrawal symptoms if you quit? You always hear about withdrawals from smoking weed, but what about withdrawals from vaping weed?

smoked 2 or 3 joints a day since forever and have just now switched to vaping. never really had any WS other than maybe a little sleeplessness the first couple of days whenever I laid off for a week or two.

I go thru alot less now that I vape. I smoked for over 30 years. I haven't smoked in about 9 weeks, I think quiting would be easier now than when smoking. I don't know why, but thats the case here.

Could be different for every person, but IF you are going to get withdrawal symptoms, at any degree, they will usually make you feel the same way. The difference is how much and how long, the severity of the withdrawal. Obviously if you ween yourself from THC, you will have much less severe THC withdrawal. Not really rocket surgery.

Due to the fact that THC is stored in your fat, when you quite smoking you should not have any withdrawals since THC is slowly being released from your fat. Now the mental effect of the habit of smoking is different and may feel like withdrawals just because you want to go smoke as you typically do and just like any habit will take a little work to overcome but will disappear quickly.
Good Luck.

No difference whatsoever. The extra unhealthy crap you get smoking is just a consequence and won't chemically affect you. Not too sure what you mean by withdrawal effects given my experience where I will just want to blaze really bad for a while when quit but it is all self control..
