I'm into the fourth day of my first grow. I've been keeping an eye on one plant, in particular. A little background: Digital ballast, dimmed to 500 watts, 24 inches about canapy. Temp is 76, RH 45%, tent is 4x6x6, 6 inch exhaust with a 4 inch intake fan, as well as 4 inch passive intake. Soil, FFOF/perlite on bottom 4 inches, Happy Frog/Perlite filling the pot out. I noticed these yellow spots the same day I planted them, but I'm wondering what they are. Water marks from the light? It only affects one leaf on one plant (plush berry kush). Are you using any nutrients? If it stays to just one leaf on one plant, dont do anything too drastic about it. FF is good stuff but its a little hot out of the bag. I wouldnt sweat it unless its getting worse and spreading.

Maybe water but nothing to worry about. NO NUTRIENTS! I hope you haven't even bought any yet so you cannot feed them. NO NUTRIENTS with your setup for the frst 3 to 4 weeks as FF OF is already fortified. Otherwise everything looks and sounds good. Good luck.

I haven't even bought any nutes yet.. lol Fox Farms is pretty hot, which is why it's only at the bottom 4 inches, as the clones will grown through Happy Frog into FF. Water PH was brought down to 7 before watering last night, which was about 3 days between watering, as the pots felt empty. I'll check for mites. Damn, I hope it isn't that.

You might think about switching your int/exh fans so that the larger is pushing in and creating some movement before blowing right out the exhaust, but that's just something I read on another thread........ I'm doing outdoors, so IDK.
Good Luck!

That sometimes happens to me 1 leaf on 1 plant will go south. I don't worry about it too much if it doesn't effect any other leaves. Although in the 2nd pic it looks like it might be 2 leaves. Can't really tell though.
Just keep an eye on her and like harley said no nutes.

Thats the problem. Turn the pot so you cant see the leaf and leave it alone. I did the same thing as probably all new growers. Focus on your environment and other areas of your grow.

Thanks, guys. Much appreciation. Foothills, I can't do that, brother, as my ballast is air-cooled via the 6 inch fan. However, the 4 inch intake blows directly into the back of the oscillating fan, thereby dispersing the fresh air onto the plants.

Marley, the plush berry kush, is looking more like her namesake as she fills out and does some last minute campaigning for her hero, other than Gary Johnson, the only one who fights for her freedom. lolP1350879.jpg

Get some Dr. Doom, that stuff works great. You can spray one day and harvest the next. It's for veggies and fruits...

Could be many things. If you mist them.. could be burn from that.

Since you using FF.. i know many people that have problems with FF. Its very strong. Sometimes might even lock your soil out and etc.. keep an eye on it if it get worse it is DEF. Rinse/runoff the soil back to right pH..

Could be nothing and goes away.. keep an eye on growth tips

Next time mix in the perlite in and don't do the bottom fill. It doesn't help with anything.

Day 4? So these are clones?

Looks good to me. If that isn't a pest issue I don't know what it is.

Slow down. This is your first grow 4 days in and you are already talking about using a different type of medium?

FFOF is great. I have pics to prove it.

From clone or germinated seed you should use light warrior or a similar mix, not ffof. You should then transplant into a 50/50 fox farm mix with a non or low nuted soil and then for a final pot once the plant is established in veg you can throw it right into straight ffof with a little perlite and dolomite lime.
